Description
While not exactly film production quality, this model is intended as part of the background traffic. I adjusted the gamma of the texture for the ship's main body, bringing it closer to the texture's original color. I think for the purpose its intended for, this should work well.
I've returned to developing environments for the story this Cargo Ship was made for. So, hopefully I'll be posting more work soon.
Thanks again for your comments and suggestions.

With chemical storage like that I just hope they don't crash. Could be very messy. };-) Interesting design.

LOL. True. This ship was more an experiment with textures and rendering. In reality, it would probably make more sense to have such a ship travel through space without landing. But, I was playing with rust textures, and we all know that metal doesn't rust in space. So, the final render was of the ship hovering in the sky. I liked the render so I posted it. Props to your observational powers. Cheers.

Your model is looking more complete now and I guess you have had enough time spent on this, but I do have one more suggestion... Maybe a some darkening of the main hull around the thrusters, to give that (crispy...LOL) more used look, otherwise ace job buddy ! ~Cheers~
