My name is Clive, resident in Cape Town, South Africa. I am an amateur photographer who has been enjoying the medium in a more serious manner since 2003.
I took a trip to the UK armed with a Minolta Maxxum 7000 that I had inherited from my Dad.
Out of the holiday snaps, I managed to get a few that I felt were quite good, but had no idea of how I managed to get them 'right'.
Since then I have done a couple of courses in the darkroom and joined a local photographic society where I was on the committee for a while.
Hopefully I am getting it 'right' more often these days.
I have a Minolta Maxxum 7 and being tied into the lens system, the Sony A100 DSLR was my introduction to the digital world. This has recently been upgraded to the Alpha SLT-A55 and I have to admit that I have shot more digital in the last five years than film!
My daughter Kristen (Kris10) and son Sean (fotoSean) have accounts here too, in the hope that they will learn too and share my passion! Sadly they have been rather quiet of late, much like their dad...
August 2015 marks the end of my 3 years as coordinator for the Photographic section of Renderosity. What a wonderful time of my life that I thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you all for the opportunity!
Keep the smile alive,
Clive

Wow, you caught a talking head without his teleprompter..."I good reporter of news, plenty things always happen today..."

Looks like he's pondering what that strange contraption on the tripod could be. Like that clock tower in the background...

And who is he? lol There are sooooo many z rate reporters and celeb's, you really can't tell them from a man in the street! But it must be said, you do have more chance of seeing a REAL news celebrity here than anywhere.. Except Downing Street, but you won't get near there lol And what is that blob behind him! Doesn't quite go with the Houses of Parliament does it? lol Good shot though Clive, lucky timing! Rob
