A pair of Romulan Shalimar-class vessels on patrol in the Drak'Mor system, guarding a hidden Tal Shiar base on the single small planet in the system. From an extensive collection of archives I took from StarTrekAustralia.com years ago, before I even had a program on which to render them, the Shalimar - pretty, aren't they? Not that you can see much of it in the image, I was aiming to get a shadowy, lonely feel for the picture, based on the grand nature of the background. When confronted with a huge nebula, it's natural to feel small, hopefully the deep shadows will enhance this feeling.
