a bleak, beautiful and very thoughtful shot, in part because of how you captured the people in it...they're very 'present', but very much small beings in a sea of bleakness. Lake Michigan (next to my home) gets this broad bleakness in winter, so I feel very much at home in your shot. (Even though the North Sea is much larger than the Lake, of course.) You've always had a wonderful way with space & expanses...Beautiful, empty, mysterious and also touching. And I love the swept-sands & peak on the right side of the pic. The image 'ends' on a peak. Beautiful seeing, and a very mysterious shot.
