Trying to cut down on render times in Reality. Doesn't really work :(

No, it doesn't. But Lux does allow you to Pause a render and do things during the evening while letting it render overnight and while you're at work (or school). I've found the end results to be well worth the patience. She looks like she's up-to-sumpthin' in this image. Well Done.

I've noticed that. I'd love to set up a few 8-core duals to act as nodes for a LuxRender farm. (Not unless I win a lottery though!) Beautiful image.
