BIOI was born in Russia and lived in S. Petersburg for 60 years. Most of my career spent teaching at the Marine Engineering University. Since 2000 have been living in Regensburg (Germany) with my wife and daughter. I began taking pictures in 2003 and almost all my photos have been taken around Regensburg. Music and long walks in nature are my pet likes.
Have joined Rendero in 2003 and have met a lot of wonderful people here. Allways enjoy the beautiful works by so many excellent artists and have got lots of inspiration by theirs works.

Good of you to feed the sheep, dear Valentin. A wonderful capture by you. Hugs for all day, Di. xx

The Good Shepherd always makes sure that His sheep are fed, Valentin. Nice capture, and an unusual but good idea. I never got to shear a sheep ( remove its wool ) but my twin brother did ( we were about 10 years old at the time ). I did rescue quite a few of them who got stuck in fences by the road side. One of the local shepherds was a cousin of my mother's. He has thousands of sheep now. another was a retired police officer who had worked in the USA during the time of Al Capone, and Prohibition. HE could have told many a good story ... ;o) Warm regards, as the cold weather returns to Scotland, John.
