Description
A full on "you bite my neck and I'll bite yours" battle. These Canada geese where also thrashing wings at each other. The way Swans do in the supposed (arm breaker) mode. The top corner spectator may be waiting for the winner to be her mate! It was under the shade off trees so a little flat colour and contrast wise. Still a sight to witness, they fought for quite a while.
They seemed so evenly matched.

Great shot. I've seen geese aggressively go after humans (particularly small children) with food, but haven't seen this kind of aggressive behavior towards each other. Thanks for sharing...

Gosh - what a spectacular battle. How lucky you were to witness this Kevin, and what is more, to capture the moment. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the one in the background is er... egging them on!
