Description

Hi there. This small Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) flies around me on a late summer day last year as I tried to get a shot of a bigger dragonfly in flight - no chance for that. But after a while the ruddy darter was looking for a good watchtower for his hunt and he chooses my hand. I tried to manage some shots without the flash - just natural sunlight. Hope you enjoy the small series of three images. My daughter was fascinated that this guy sits on her fathers hand and let him get some shots.
