Description

When you're depressed, life is viewed in shades of grey. This image is a response from a co-worker at Treasure House. Marion asked me to make a request for her Granddaughter, Sybil. She is suffering from depression and Marion and Sybil's mother are hurting so much right now, not knowing how to help Sybil. I know Sybil quite well and I hurt along with Marion and Sybil's mom. I ask you to send prayers and good wishes not only for Sybil but for her mother and Marion. Thank you very much Mike

Mike, you did a very nice job on this powerful and moving dedication to your friend. It sounds like Sybil is going to a rough time in her life right now, and we need to keep her and her family in our prayers. Thank you so much for your kind and caring heart Mike, and for being such a wonderful friend to all those around you.

Stunning capture Mike. It does an excellent job of depicting the helplessness and hopelessness that accompany depression. Your friend Sybil is very lucky to have friends and family that are supportive of her. Depression is a very difficult illness to cope with especially without strong support.

Sorry to hear about Sybil she does need prayer and much support and encouragement from those around her at this time in her life. For those who have not suffered the crippling effects of depression it is hard to understand the feeling one gets.. Having been there I know first hand the feeling she is going through.. She needs to get help from a GOOD doctor or Councillor and possibly needs to be on anti depressions for a time at leasted till she is through this stretch.. Will keep her in my thoughts and prayers...

A sad picture for now, but we know it will change for the better I can promise that. I wish the same for your friend, once you have touched the bottom, there is only one way and that is up.

I know that old demon depression very well. It is hard to face up to it, and I always resist, but going to a therapist is a great solution. There are some pretty good drugs on the market now too, but therapy is fundamental even with drugs. Your image perfectly captures the dullness and complexity of the disease. Great choice Mike!

The bleak and barren landscape of depression - ahhh yes. A beautiful dedi and you are such a good friend, Mike. Sending prayers for all that Sybil will find her colors again and some sunshine in her life.

Depression. So many of us have suffered it. Thought processes within which render life a hell. Occuences around us which submerge us in a lethargic darkness. I know it all too well, too. I pray Sybil comes through, and is strengthened from the experience so she doesn't have to go through it again. Nice photo. Now we get to see your bridge from another angle. Still snow and frost. Looks like a desolate swamp. But it still has its beauty. Thanks for posting, and sharing the concern. Thanks for comments on my posts.
