Description

Hi guys, hope you’ll like this bioluminescent forest created in Cinema 4D. I wanted most of the light to come from the trees and it was a nightmare to set up. Creating the bioluminescent shader was also quite challenging. For the compositing I used After Effects. Credits: Scythe by Sanctum Art Cy-Atletik by Aery Soul

The bioluminescent nodes are quite nice. I should get some for my house.

To achieve the bioluminescent look I just use the Backlight texture in the Luminance channel of my material. Add a light inside the object and here you go, a bioluminescent plant.
