Description
This photo is from a hill only 5 minutes away from my home by car. A hill from where I, as a little girl 6-7 years old, for the first time discovered, that sound was slower then light. Not that I could put words on that at the time, but I was sitting in the grass among alot of beautiful cod mouth, (Lovely yellow flowers), on the top of this hill about 900 feet to the left. To me the hill seamed much taller than today and while I was sitting there I had an amazing view out over the whole spit with water to both sides, as there were only very few trees at that time. About 900 feet down the hill, I saw a farmer stood knocking down a tethering pole for his Cow and for every time he hit the pole, it took a little while before I could hear the sound of his hammer. Dont know why I never forgot that :) And I remember such a free feeling of pure happiness, watching the world from above. :-)
