full size has good focus
the rose I posted the other day was not the first , but the third.this small rose bush has two roses with one being ruined.both were covered up with petals
when I went out the temperature was 69F and all the sudden the wind picks up from the north. less than 30 minutes the temp had fallen to 49F

Wait! Fallen to 49 degrees??? How about a "Rise" to 49 degrees?? Different temps between me and you, methinks! ;) Nice shot though of something I won't see for awhile.

Our whole winter has been like that .. not as warm of course, but it's been constant freeze/thaw, snow/rain .. can't be good for the plants, and for sure hasn't been a long enough sustained cold spell to kill insect eggs and pupae. I'm thinking it's going to be a very buggy summer. Get out the flea, tick, and mosquito killing stuff!! Nice to see a rose!
