Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Super idea Marilyn. Quality picture...sharp, clear and well lit. Next, with a trip to your nearest building supply place you might consider, "One brick short of a load." lol.

Couple-a fries short of a Happy Meal. He's a good man, though, and I think you should keep him around for a while! LOL! This is a great shot. I love the quality of the light on the water, the color of the wood, the angle of the oar. Outstanding image!

I think that the lighting and the clean looking oar bring this photo together.
