Description

Just having a bit of fun, went out today to try to take some spring photos but got rained out. I also for the first time ever spotted an American Bald Eagle in the wild not too far from where I live. I was driving and couldn't really stop, so I went back to the same area on my way back home but had no luck finding it, but I will try again in the next couple days to see if I can spot it again. My classe (photography) are going great, we have two field trips planned for this one class I am taking, one of them it to the Knoxville Zoo, we are going to have a private behind the scene tour on a Saturday morning before the zoo opens, I am so looking forward to that. And I promise to take tons of photos. :) Have a great week everyone. Wonder where the expression for Oh for Pete's sake comes from anyone know? My last image: thumb_2306873.jpg
Just peeking in to say hello.

Clever title for this adorable capture Lynell, only you could come up with something like this. Good luck on spotting that Bald Eagle again, and have a great time at the zoo.

Nice pink colors and frame, Lynell, but I have no idea what I'm looking at. Could be a double row of pink teeth.

For the sake of Saint Peter? Simon called Peter i wonder? Nice looking candy, I have developed a taste for American sweets, after honey has been visiting :} A little tip for your zoo trip, though someone will prolly tell, or indeed you already know, if you get any bars in front of you or mesh, go as close as you dare without scratching your lens, and choose a wide aperture :}

I think we actually have more bald eagles here in Canada than you do in the US. We don't have em up here though, but we DO have a thriving population of very ornery peregrin falcons!

Cool capture Lynell. There is a bald eagle that lives not far from me. Its not uncommon to see it way up over head, but is pretty rare to ever see it up close.

You should live where I do I see them almost every time I go to town. I know our realtor who rides horses got a ticket for trespassing on a protected area. Of course there are no signs posted so she had no way of knowing. Judge said that was no excuse and it was a very expensive ticket. Like the picture. I used to get them as a kid at Easter. Song: weired one to hear I know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6umtbbOt6kA
