Description
The barbarian lord assumes a stance of authority at the outpost marker in the borderlands designating the extent of his territory. His consort assumes a position subject to him but also of challenge as the two look upon the approaching party of a neighboring chieftain. Be he friend or foe, they know not, but in either case he will be met with courage and strength!
The barbarian lord and his consort are played by two great new characters from schonee, SD Shawn and Rhoslyn for V4.
In five of my last six images I have been exploring various modes of outdoor light. It has been a fun learning experience and I am pleased once again with my result here. I hope you enjoy!

The lighting is beautiful. I love the warm tones of it and the way it seems to caress the two figures. I like the hint of a soft breeze showing in their hair and his cloak. Excellent poses and expressions. When I first saw their expressions, I noticed the imperiousness in his and the coolness in hers. But when I looked on zoom, I also saw the hint of gentleness in his and of humor in hers. This, to me, is a window into their personalities when they are not on duty, assuming a stance and expression for the neighboring chieftain. I like their poses, showing strength, but also unity. Beautiful scene, with wonderful lighting, characters, and sky.
