The Fw. 190D was probably the first true interceptor, was evolved further into the Ta. 152 and that might have been the ultimate propeller-driven fighter.

Its great. I'm sure there were still plenty of colour photos taken in WW2- not that anyone had much time to do it during dogfights- so its worth filling in the gaps as if they could...
