The Homeless Christmas tree along I30 in Fort Worth
This is the location of a small mimosa tree that has become very important to the people in Fort Worth. The tree is decorated at holiday times as a tribute to the homeless population - a tradition started by a woman named Carla Christian. The tree is the subject of "The Homeless Christmas Tree", a book by Leslie M. Gordon.
