Hmm... Must be one of those hippie leprechauns. Don't worry, Didi is a good girl. This is one redhead who would rather have gold than "green." Why am I thinking about the song "Karma Chameleon" all of a sudden? This image is in honor of St. Patrick's Day! I think people in Ireland probably don't understand why St. Patrick's Day is so popular in the United States, especially among people who are not Irish. They probably cringe at the association of St. Pat's with leprechauns, and the depiction of leprechauns like they are on a "Lucky Charms" box. You would think the day's mascot would be a snake, but that's not nearly as cute. The Irish probably REALLY cringe at what St. Pat's Day is most associated with in the USA, and that is... heavy drinking. I saw a greeting card for the occasion, and on it, in all sincerity, were people drinking a bottle of SCOTCH. Now, that made ME cringe. I can just imagine some editor somewhere saying "People know what Scotch is. They've probably never heard of Irish Whiskey!" Yikes. Oh well... Wherever you are, and whatever your heritage, have a Happy St. Patrick's Day... Or, at the very least, have a good day!

Hey, I create St. Patrick's Day rendering centred around absinthe so not to worry. I side with Didi, I'd much rather have the rare metal. Nice work and Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Oh, my. Almost missed this one. What a pity if I had done so, and with my favorite Didi starring in it! Looks like the little green fellow may be doing some double speak - his pot. Hmmm... maijuana? Or pot of gold? Or potty? OH, my. She shouldn't trust him. He may cast a spell on her. Funny, but all too true what you say about the Scotch instead of Irish whisky - some things are a bit odd in the US, but, it's like that in all countries. One just has to look and see the contradictions, often very funny ones! Thanks for the multileveled message and the St. Patrick's Day greeting, and for starring Didi in it!
