Description

He's either in love with his own reflection, or he spied my cornish pasty! In fact he came so close to me that I had to back away to get to the minimum focus distance. Shot on a walk near Dovedale in Derbyshire. In shade hence the high ISO (I always use auto ISO when wildlife hunting, one less thing to think about....) And yes, he did get fed. Beautiful, how lovely they are, I was 'chatting' to one in my garden earlier today! I love the fact that they are so bold and friendly, I have a friend who feeds hers by hand!

The little blighters get very aggressive this time of year attacking their own reflection anywhere they see it. Had one the other day battering the car wing mirror. Great capture up close. Richard.
