Description

Had a bad day yesterday. My mare was down most of the day with pain. I really didn't think she would make it through the night. She is 32 and I have her 28 years. I prepared myself for the worse.
But she is out today grazing a bit and walking around and I am so thankful to have my friend with me. I love her so.
Big ((( hugz ))) Dawn

Hmmmmmmm. I don't have a clue how long horses typically live. I did a Google search and got answers ranging anywhere from 18 to 30 years. Thirty two seems like it is probably quite a good run. Glad to hear she is doing better. Hope she has MANY more years with you Dawn. This is a pretty image Dawn. I like the way the wind is blowing her cloak back. One can almost smell the salt air and feel the spay.

Dawn I didn't really know that a horse could live to that age. When I was little I got quite fond of a retired race horse that came 5th in the Grand national one year I always got angry because he was out in the cold in a bottom field with a 2 year old thoroughbred. I even remember his name Valybus. I do hjope yours pulls through. I hate seeing animals in pain. If my dog looks the wrong way he is at the vet. Lovely picture :) Cathy xoxoxo
