Description
Fancied doing something a little more sci fi for a change, and saw a child staring in wonder at a butterfly. Wondered how it would look as a robotic or cybernetic character discovering something organic.

This is a really great concept piece! The expression on her face is wonderful; she really does give the impression of being fascinated by something she has never seen. I also love the contrast between the angular/mechanical hand and the soft curves of the butterfly which are nicely tied together with the blue tones. I wonder how this would look on a different background? The negative space in the center does tend to pull my eye away from the character because the texture has its own movement. Still, fabulous stuff!
