A special photo for my 1300th post!
I do not take photos of anybody without permission.
When I first got out of the Navy, I drove a tractor trailer for a lumber company. The rear tire mud flaps had shinny stainless steel silhouettes of naked women. One on each side. When I spotted this not so young lady, with the same silhouettes as tattoos, I had to take this shot. Life is good but sometimes scary. She offered to bend over for a better view. I passed on that offer. I hope that this does not offend anybody. Taken at Saturdays St Patrick Day parade. Zoom if you dare!

Congrats on 1300! Amazing! And thanks for the shot, you definitely know what I like! I would also have gone for the bend-over shot (on motor drive, LOL) but we all do things differently! Thanks for the dedi, and I have also seen those exact symbols on mud flaps though I don't quite understand why a woman would want them as permanent tattoos on shaply legs, of course I am old school and it's their world now and I enjoy seeing what they do with it. I'd bet she has more tats all the way up!

OK, just so you know - my wife was with me at the parade and she has seen it all with my photography - from climbing a tree, for the best POV or laying on the sidewalk (or hotel lobby floor) to shoot straight up.

I live on the edge. I rarely ask permission before taking photos of people. A paparazzi rascal through and through. Anyway, I think you are referring to what they call mudflaps/splash guards on the back of trucks when describing the naked silhouettes of females. That said, the lady is so clever with those tattoos. An attention getter, for sure. Great clarity, contrasts and lighting effects in this cool rear shot, Dana.

hahahh bet your wife was with you at the time so you say "No" to the bent over shot. But then you did the moral thing right for saying no anyway. i see them on trucks still at times.

congratulations on your 1300th upload. I would only ask for permission to take a shot if it was not in a public place and only if it was for commercial use, hard core Paparazzi that's me. Great shot though.
