Description

Thus thinketh the minstrel upon awakening from a most vivid dream: 'What ever could have caused it. Must've been too much grog at that tavern in the last town. My story telling took a huge dive after consuming that last pitcher! I think they threw me out and some dogs chased me out of town. I was afraid they would catch me and tear my clothes off! Well, that dream was absolutely crazy! Where did I ever come up with that luny story I told that old egyptian god? And running around naked in purple stockings? What ever was that about, although purple is one of my favorite colors? Hmmmmmmmm! Well, I think I will lay off the grog for awhile at any rate. Do you suppose this dream was some kind of warning?' And as the minstrel looked to his right, his eye caught sight of one of the little antelopes shaking it's head and winking at him in a most obvious way. DAZ 3D David character rendered in Poser 6. Postwork in PS7. I had no idea when I did the first render of this series that it would turn into a mini story. But that is the beauty of this medium. Sometimes these stories just develop a life of their own and all you have to do is go along for the ride. As for purple sox. I'm not sure why I chose to put them on the young minstrel. In the back of my mind, I can still recall an interview Johnny Carson (I think) had with Marie Osmond when she and Donny were at the height of their careers. She told him that Donny loved purple sox, so for a Christmas present, she bought him a bag with 100 pair in it. At least that was the way I remember it. Funny, no? Well, I digress..... Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Your right Radders, mini stories like this can take on a life of their own, aided by inspirational commentary from your audience too! That's what I like about this site - you hit the nail on the head there mate!
