Seems to be part of the republican housing plan. They want to build a few places to look like they are helping the housing shortage, but they in no way want any "poor" people to move into them. Republicans are all about helping the rich get richer and the poor should be able to fend for themself.

If memory serves me correctly ..That's a woodpeckers bird house....designed and created and installed to prevent the woodpeckers from destroying the actual tree it's pecking...At least that's what these are used as in our local state forest preserves.....But I can see how one would think this when seeing it and considering that government wastes so much needless money as it is... about as useless as a screen door on a submarine...lol...
