Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

I'm very familiar with this, having passed it many times while driving around to visit my family in the area. I never have understood how it could be open every day except the high holy days. LOL Stunning shot and the rock color is so true.

We were in the neighborhood when we were there last spring, and I remember talking about this place, but we never stopped to get a good look. Outstanding capture!
