Description
This Snowy Egret flew right in front of me and I was as unprepared as can be. Only got off one shot and not the best of focus. They are about 24 inches (61 cm) long and with a wingspan of 41 inches (104cm). Photo taken and Green Cay wetlands, west of Boynton Beach. Better focus and details in zoom mode!

Still a nice shot, considering how fast you probably had to react. I light the translucency of the feathers, very interesting detail to study. (I think I may have been raytracing too long....)
