Description
Nothosaurus is an extinct genus of sauropterygian reptile from the Triassic period (240-210 million years ago). Fossils being distributed from North Africa, Europe and China. Nothosaurus was a semi-oceanic animal which probably had a lifestyle similar to that of seals. It was up to 4 meters (13 ft) long.
