I would suggest smoothing the shadows out so they're a bit softer and perhaps not so dark - the sword might look cooler if it had something to rest on, like an ornate stand and the light around it seems a little too bright. Other than that it's very creative!

I would actually make the room itself a little darker. Try placing just one area light and using radiosity.
