Here´s a little dedication to you, dearest friend. Happy Birthday and MANY MANY MANY more in the future. I wish your day will be the very best together with good friends and family. You are one of my closest friends and for that, I am ever so grateful, but I cannot be with you today. LOL! Only in my thoughts. ;-)

Today the weather changed to warmer temperatures and I am soon done with the studio. I think I will try it out tomorrow. :)

They're butterflies, but they're also Helle 'creatures', beautiful, flowering and very strong statements that you seem to come up with all the time without even thinking. And I love the variations from one to the next, your inimitable color-scheme, and your way with patterned backgrounds: Even your border has a wonderful ornamental "band" going through it, a helle abstract through and through. (And still very organic!) (Look---the colors of the butterflies go from luminous pinks to an almost fall-like glow, really nice progression, Helle!) It's beautiful. As for your words, well it's no secret to anyone who knows me how much I treasure you, so all I can say is "thank you so much, and you know the feelings are mutual!" Thank you for always remembering & for making all my days special. And it's a beautiful piece of helle-art & I'm truly grateful.
