Description

I took this tonight while I was walking in the park area near our Court House. They had their hammocks stretched out right near a spring just enjoying the evening, across the park their was a group doing fencing lessons so there was a little bit of everything going on tonight. I loved their different takes on reading material. Remember the song: I take--2 steps forward I take--2 steps back We come together Cuz opposites attract And you know--it ain't fiction Just a natural fact We come together Cuz opposites attract Thank you all so much for your comments on my last image. thumb_2310778.jpg

very interesting capture - the one nice thing about the real book: no batteries to die...... apparently it is very warm where you're at for both to be wearing shorts!

Great catch! Love the contrast in the hair color as well as the reading material. I wasn't sure if it was Paula Abdul until I started to sing the rest of the tune! YES - I do remember that song. And now I feel just plain old. lol

Wonderful contrast of styles Lynell. While I still do like old style books, I have to admit at work carrying around an IPad is a lot more appropriate than the texts I have entered into it. I would need to drag a wagon around with me to have the same reference material at my finger tips as what my IPad has loaded on it, and if the Ipad ever had a dead battery those same books are all also loaded on my Iphone.

One good coronal mass injection from the sun aimed with better accuracy than the last one that whizzed over us last week and that kindle will only be good for a paper weight and she'll be back to reading like her son is next to her..lol... Truly a splendid capture with complimenting colors...(smiles).. 5th consecutive day we've been 80 or higher here in Wisconsin...(normal 53)..today 84......all good things must come to an end and unfortunately it comes with a price...expecting really bad weather beginning here tomorrow afternoon...(crosses fingers and toes all goes well)...

Not only is this a good subject...you caught the best of 2 worlds, the book that is becoming a thing of the past to the electronic that is taking over... Great shot.
