She managed to avoid entanglements with Christobael’s apostles that would have inducted her into the Sisters of Pain and Pleasure and spelled her doom. She avoided pissing off the Silver Gryphon Legacy or even gaining the attention of the Olde Silver Gryphon. She danced precariously between Jesseriniae and the forces of Tarantella Belabra, staying out of the fray when the avatar of Kiriansalee was born. And she’d even managed to sidestep the events surrounding the destruction of The Eye.

In the meantime, Korbaryeager had managed to cement support and forces like no other Hobgoblin WarPriestess before. It was no surprise then that when all the dust settled, she had become the undisputed master of all the Hobgoblins of the Western UnderDark and even gained mastery of the remaining forces of General Brock Uttman when he was destroyed during the Three Wars. Above and below, there was none that could challenge her.

Then Princess Aura, daughter of Shang, came to Old Calladon and sought out its leaders. Korbaryeager was one of the first names she heard. Lady Ghedryn recruited her, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now, Korbaryeager stands on the precipice of a great victory no other Hobgoblin has ever managed to achieve, the creation of a Hobgoblin nation, free, independent, and powerful. All she has to do is help defeat Lolth, destroy the Splinter Kingdom, hold off the Mord Elves, unseat a Succubus Princess, and become one of the rulers of Hell. Nothing to it.
