Description

I have soooooooo many many blimp photos around my house but mostly in the kitchen....The Hindenburg disaster is my favorite. This oldish print was shot through non-glare glass but I still had to weed out some glare. There is something magically amazing about airships!!!!

The only blimp photo I have in my house is on the cover of the first Led Zeppelin album (which is the famous Hindenburg disaster you mentioned) - should I be feeling blimp envy? Great shot - where was it taken?

I'm with you. I grew up near one of the GoodYear blimps airfields. I would see that one cruising overhead many times as a kid, and still see it time to time presently. I have always had a love of Airships. Very cool image. PS I have a HUGE image in my gallery of the Goodyear blimp, might want to check it out if you haven't seen it. Page 10.
