Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

Oh, COOL! Really interesting concept. The uneven surface is really highlighted here. Is it the glass itself, or is it a liquid on the glass? Whichever, this looks real interesting. Fire extinguisher you say? Is that the sorry voice of experience, or a word of advise? Keep up the good work! :-)

Very creative idea & fantastic shot. The shapes of the flames are so elegant & sinuous...

Beautiful! I'll leave the setting on fire of things to you, and will happily enjoy the results. :)

I love flame images and this is lovely! Just remember the plastic sheet for your bed - you know what they say what happens to folks playing with fire! Hehehe...

This is HOT Ed! It is fun fiddling with special effects and you've done well here. Does Karen know you've been playing with matches? Lol.
