To answer a few of the "old Faithful" queries on the last post. It is not, and without checking my notes I want to say it is "Castle geyser", but please don't quote me on that. :~) This image is a scanned 4 X 6 Matte finish photo. Taken many moons ago in the Mojave desert, UT. Every March I find myself wanting to be on the road to photograph the Joshua Tree blooms. It lasts but a short couple weeks and never fails to astound me. The blooms are massive and many, to think of the water utilized, and to look at the environment... wow! Full view doesn't add much.
