Description
This photo was taken at an indoor car show a couple years ago. I took best of show there and got a 4 foot trophy for it.
While I was there that day a Rep: from Ford Motor Co. Approached me and asked me if I would be interested in bringing my car to the "Mustang Round Up" later that year as he stated he wanted to put my car on a turntable to show what a real 70 looked like. He stated it was one of the best looking Mustangs he'sd ever seen. At the time I told him I would, but about the same time that year I had had, other things going on and couldn't make to that show so I lost out there.
I want the viewers out there to understand that I've had this car almost 12 years now and you have to remember when I stated a couple pic's ago the car was repainted in 1992 and after 20 years now in this year 2012, my Mustang still looks like it does in this photo. It's remarkable to me that it stood the test of time and I give real credit to the second owner of finding a painter that good to do the job he did on this car. Continue next photo.

WoW! at 4 ft that's some trophy! While I understand you wanting to give the former owner credit too, you have to be thanked for keeping cars like this on the road and not some boring modern bubblebox. Did you ask the Ford Motor guy why they don't build em like this anymore :)

Yes I did ask him that very question, and he told me that's what the newer Mustangs now are suppose to represent in some way my model. Even though today's Mustangs appear to have some of the same look they are still not like the one I own they don't have the real fastback look among other things.

I hope you got the guys number! There's always some other event and I am sure he would still be interested in showing your ride!
