Description

This is drawn in ArtRage 2. I used a Portrait of Mark taken in september 2009 by Tara (auntietk) as a source. I gave it Sepia, darkened it a bit and framed it in PSP 9. Hope you like it. Hope you all are having a beautiful day. Weather was sunny and alot warmer today :) As usual, Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

Holy cow, Helle! You've made me look better than I've ever looked in my life! And you've done a great service to Tara's wonderful photo! It's hard to praise this, because I don't want to sound like I'm praising 'me'---I'm not! (Have you seen me lately, lol???) I'm praising you! What a wonderful, crisp & beaming portrait. Terrific job on everything, even my beard & mustache jump off the page. (Trust me, in person, I'm much more scraggly. I've been compared to a scruffy dog. Woof!) Wonderful. Everytime you draw, paint, physical or digital, do montages, all of it, you show us once again how creative, perceptive, expressive, greatly skilled & all-out loving you are with art. And that's on top of your photography & everything else. I'm flattered to be the subject of one of your pieces---thank you for 'doing me proud', as they say, you really did & I'm thrilled to be the subject of such a terrific eye-popping piece. (Do you have this guy's number? I'd like to call him! Maybe he can give me pointers!) Just the best, Helle, but that's what you do everytime you create...

This is wonderful, Helle! Are you sure you're using the same ArtRage I'm using? LOL! My version doesn't turn out this kind of high quality work. :P You're good at this ... you know that? Outstanding!! (He really is more scraggly in person, but it's a comfortable, loving sort of scraggliness that makes you feel right at home.) I'm SO glad you posted this. You're fabulous! :)

This is GREAT! I went to the photo made by Tara. Well, I'm really impressed by your portrait of Mark. Of course I like the photo too, but this is amazing art.
