Description
Scene: After Kalud and his clan attacked the tiny village of Rilaun
"Such wanton destruction this man has caused, his day will come...this is not the end, only the beginning." Murella thought, as she stood in the middle of the smoldering ash and ruins of once had been an idyllic home of the Rilauns.
Rendered in Poser Pro 2012 and composed in Photoshop.

Determination and an air of confidence exudes from her, there's going to be Hell to pay me thinks. Glad to see you run with this story, Jenny, it was quite intriguing in the promos. Excellent mood setting piece to start it off, I'm looking forward to this saga.

When I saw your Murella I thought to myself, wow, this is exactly how I picture her. Wice and aged, yet not looking old. What a fantastic illustration of the story too with the wanton destruction of the peaceful village of Rilaun. Kalud did not know it at the time, but he signed his own ruin that day. Love it!!!

Well, by the look on her face - and the training Roxanne has received - I think Kalud is in really deep doo-doo! A fantastic work of art, Lil' Sis! It really portrays the scene of devastation, and Murella has that look of determination and resolve to avenge Kalud's barbarism. Superb as always!

I really like the way the colors add so much drama to the scene. The angry reds and yellows magnify the anger and disappointment evident on her face (both in her expression and in the lines that her experiences have etched there). Her pose is one of determination and there is a sense she is poised to do something... not yet, but soon. If I saw this on the cover of a paperback, I would definitely pick it up to read what it was about. My one suggestion would be to have some of the smoke move in front of her. This would help increase the sense of depth to the image, and perhaps let a little of the red light hit her face and body to plant her more firmly in the scene. But those are minor suggestions to an already great piece of work! Bravo!
