what a beauty!

nice portrait thomas, i like the lighting and character, and the piercings rock. a couple of tips: the neftis hairs are great for mid-range and distant renders, but for close-ups their hairlines lack detail. you should try either one of HMann's hairs (Cleo hair, Gypsy hair), grab the free Reika hair by minerva, or paint in some fine hairs around the hairline in photoshop. also, the most important thing in portraits is to get the eyes focused on the viewer. she seems to be looking a little to the upper left - you can fix this by turning the camera a touch. when youre setting up the eyes its best to cover one of her eyes (hand over the screen) and adjust the other eye with the dials until the pupil points right at you. then cover the other eye and do the same. i know it sounds silly, but this is how i do it (yes, with my hand over the screen :) cheerio, old bean, -gabriel

looking good....like the subtle lighting, though to me the jewellry should be a bit brighter, it seems too dull to be stainless or silver....which is just a niggle really...lovely work

Well done, Thomas. I don't agree with BH on the eyes, maybe I'm just not seeing it. The hair does need work, like smoothing the braids and adding definition to the hairline. Otherwise, terrific!

Very nicely done! I have to agree on the hair, but what I want to know is why you prefer to have the figure facing full front, instead of profile? If that sounded like a request, that's because it was. :oP

Thank you for the work you put into the re-posting of Gothic Kiss...she is lovely. Your hard work is paying off with every render you do. Your Lady

Very pretty, I love the backlighting. I might have put a touch more light on the eyes, and I agree on the hairline. Overall, though, good job!
