Description
I bought seeds for these way back in November and planted them in December...The seeds were planted out of necessity as NO ONE sells plants for these.. not locally or online. I kept them outside with a screen cover to protect the tiny seedlings from who knows what and this first bloom was proudly taken today of the first blossom....I feel like a successful Bolero Pansy Mother:)
They get double and triple frills with every imaginable color as they age and my most favorited photo "Night Pansy" is an example of them as they mature. It's cool to create life from a seed......:)

I know how very long it takes to grow these from seed. This one was well worth the wait. I grew Violas this past winter, but I want to try the larger Pansies next time.

So lovely. I share the passion both for growing things and for pansies. They are my childhood captured in a bloom.
