Description
Kalud, the Usurper is gone... the cry for justice was heard by the gods, the battle had been fought and won. Roxanne held a sigh of relief, her purpose as an instrument of justice had been fulfilled.

I skipped the beheading, the blood and gore for the following scenes, as I'd like to portray her more as a victorious hero. Rendered in Poser Pro 2012 and composed in Photoshop.
Behind the Scenes:
Roxanne, so far is the biggest Poser project we have handled. The idea came from a short talk I had with Roxy (brewgirlca) sometime in November. We talked about Rianne our character who had tribal tattoo options and olive skin. She suggested I should make a cousin or a sister for her but more of a warrior type. So I mixed the name Roxy and Rianne and came up with Roxanne. In reality, it is her first name, meaning "Daughter of the Dawn."
The Rilaun outfit was a mix of ideas that Rob, Kenneth and I have put together. The awesome rig works was of course, done by Rob, I suggested the mismatched boots and Kenneth gave its name Rilaun and designed the rest of the outfit including the shield and the ax, and the headband which he designed in ZBrush.
As for the Rilaun weapons, you might be wondering what those names mean. You already know how Chuck named the weapons he made before. In Tagalog (our native language) "Bangis" means fierce, "Kidlat" is lightning, "Kilabot" stands for terrifying, "Lupit" is cruel and "Dangal" means pride.
I just want to thank everyone who made dedications for us, it has been a delight to see all your spectacular works and it's been a pleasure working with Rob, Kenneth and Chuck, they are the best!

Such a victorious heroine we have here! I love the sweep of the hair, and the way the part of the sky that is clearing frames her. The passing of the storm as she exits victorious from her battle. Dangal, the weapon looks very wicked here. It is no wonder she won, she was so well armed and prepared. :) Applause for a wonderful story, so well told!

A wonderful background scene to set Roxanne off so well. I love how you have done her hair with the wind blowing it around, and her pose shows her worn out from her fight but proud too that she has completed what she set out to do. This is a wonderful set and I am looking forward to using it. Superbly created.

I see the winds of change are still blowing, and I might add, just as beautifully. She has a resolved look to her yet such a look of calm reservedness as well. Her work is not done yet, this is just the end of the beginning... "miles to go before she sleeps". Fantastic looking work, Jenny, your compositions are always so flawlessly executed. I really like how the clouds are clearing as if the darkness that was Kalud has lost it's stranglehold on her land... and it's people.

This has been a fantastic run. You really brought out the warrior in this character and you have given me (and others) a character for the ages. So many gorgeous options, like the cuts, bruises, dirt and tattoo, each one of them could have stood alone but you piled them on. But those face tattoos, those are just wicked perfect. Meant to ask you how you and Chuck are getting blood on your blades? Mine looks like crap in comparison. Super job here Jenny. All those months of work really paid off.

This like all your work is just above and beyond, Lil' Sis! Your renders are always special - your talent for making the poses absolutely perfect is second to none, and it easy to tell that you put your heart into every single work of art you create. The Roxanne / Rilaun project is one of the most amazing accomplishments I've seen - you, Rob, Chuck, and Ken can be proud of what you have created. And I am very honored to have had a small part in it. It's been said many times in the last week or so..... I don't know how you're going to top this one. I'm still working on my own version of Roxanne - I have some new things I want to try grin When I first saw the name 'Roxanne' I had a feeling that the inspiration had come from another of Rendo's finest artists and a super lady and friend! This entire package just rocks in every way imaginable! Congrats on an amazing accomplishment, Lil' Sis!

This scene flows incredibly well... I could easily see such a character standing victorious overlooking the great wasteland that is the Nevada desert, like the one we drove through for 9 hours on our way from Las Vegas to South Lake Tahoe.
