Description

... the Duck in the Tree? She's back, so this is the 2012 version. Protected against cows and cats, and when the ducklings are ready (last year she had 8) they gently float down (much volume, no weight), waggle into the water and they're off. But why? Well, in earlier years she had her place in a small plastic pond in a garden. But the owner rearranged the garden, and you can see the pond upside down (right side). So she left the garden, crossed the path, and now she sits in the tree (left side) overseeing the garden, and waiting for the pond to return in the garden design.

Hey, something I've seen on television. There really are ducks, that nest in tree cavities. When the ducklings are big enough, they jump easily from the tree, into soft foliage ... Scary, but they have so elastic bones that they break anything. Really a very cool and interesting photo!
