Description

This little guy/lass came up to me today as I was taking shots of flowers and I just had to capture it even although I had a macro lens on the camera. Going to Scotland tomorrow so I will not be around much next week. Hope you all have a great week and I'll catch up when I get back. Martin

This is a very nice capture, of one of my favourite birds, Martin. They were sadly lacking last year in west central Scotland. Maybe they'll come back for our six-day 'Indian Spring' ( or maybe they've heard that we might have snow back next week .. ;o) ). This 'global warming' is quite baffling, since we've had some really bad winters, as well as lots more rain than even Scotland is used to. As for 2012, well, I saw my first wasp some weeks ago, and yesterday, on the way back from the shops I spotted a bee. I think that they are in for a shock though, if the meteorolgists have it right.. Warm regards, and I hope that you get some nice shots up here, John.
