Well my Bio got lost in the php change over. (where I come from (UK) php stands for Pot Head Pixies!!!) Check out Planet Gong!!! Anyway I'm Steve Jones.I live in England. Welcome to my homepage. I suppose I,ve been into art all my life. Started like most kids with a box of crayons and loads of colouring books! Moved on to oils and then acrylic paints. Not any formal art training really, just 2 years at art collage (part time) Where I learned very little! Got into computer graphics Jan 2005 when I got Bryce4 free with a magazine. Not looked back since!! (Not talked to my family, or gone out, or watched TV or slept either!!!) It takes over your life. BE WARNED!! So What inspires me, well, Music plays a big part in my life, bands like Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, The Cocteau Twins to name but 3. Sci-fi and fantasy are my other passions, and I'm a great believer in experamentation. There are no rights or wrongs in my book, so if I want to give my female character the texture of a tiger or a tree I will!!! and why not colour hair with a fractal? Hope you find something nice to look at in my gallery. If you do then why not leave a comment. Steve:) AKA Star4mation. Website........

Looking good Steve.

Well worth the wait, Steve. A striking composition. It is a shame that it is not real. It would make a great place to explore ( if my ankles allowed me to climb and hike any more .. ;O) ) Those overhangs look quite treacherous.. Rendering in VUE and TERRAGEN I usually choose a fast rendering atmosphere, or else I give my 12GB RAM PC a PSU and processor heart attack. It complains and chugs for days afterwards. At least VUE 10 Complete lets one use dynamic ecosystems, so does not use as much effort to get the same result. I think my first fractal landscape program was the old GENESIS for the Atari and Amiga ( pre-PC computers ) in the late 1980s. I have not come across INCENDIA but I must research it. Thanks for posting this magnificent render. Warm regards, from a chilly Glasgow, John.

Well worth the wait Steve, this looks fantastic, from the funky formations to the perfect atmosphere ! BTW, is the fog/cloud effect a part of the Incendia program or is that some spiffy postwork ? either great result ! ~Cheers~

Yeah, that's what I hate about Incendia, at least it has a Render Buffer save so you can stop and start as many times as necessary to get to Done. Super work man Peace
