Description

Thought I'd do a quick INCENDIA fractal image. After 3 hours I remembered you don't do quick when rendering large in INCENDIA!!! You need plenty of time for a quality render, the longer you wait the more detail you get.

Well worth the wait, Steve. A striking composition. It is a shame that it is not real. It would make a great place to explore ( if my ankles allowed me to climb and hike any more .. ;O) ) Those overhangs look quite treacherous.. Rendering in VUE and TERRAGEN I usually choose a fast rendering atmosphere, or else I give my 12GB RAM PC a PSU and processor heart attack. It complains and chugs for days afterwards. At least VUE 10 Complete lets one use dynamic ecosystems, so does not use as much effort to get the same result. I think my first fractal landscape program was the old GENESIS for the Atari and Amiga ( pre-PC computers ) in the late 1980s. I have not come across INCENDIA but I must research it. Yeah, that's what I hate about Incendia, at least it has a Render Buffer save so you can stop and start as many times as necessary to get to Done. Super work man Peace
