Hi, and welcome to my profile :) I 'm a novice Spray-can Artist in New Zealand. I produce paintings between 10 mins and 5 hours using spray-paint (the only paint used) onto poster board / card, using several tools including a palette knife and more card. Due to the nature of the paint and reverse layering, I love fighting the clock before the paint dries... using the colours from underneath, and the mental challenge of knowing what I'm doing from the start. That's enough about me for now... more info to come.

Do you use ordinary spray paint or is it a specialized one? They are all so fabulous :o)

This is cool - I love your path leading off into the moon.

Beautifully done! I like the limited color palette for this ... it gives a sense of moonlight, where more color would introduce daylight where there shouldn't be any. Gorgeous work!

Jendella, I use just any spraypaint, the cheaper stuff I'm using isn't even suitable for automotive! the detail is mainly manipulating my palette knife, different layers of sprayed on color, and a few dabs using materials including the same cardboard I use to paint on :) will make a shot by shot one day of the different methods. I'll also post some of my own old schoolwork (even more "traditional"), for those who are interested soon too :D
