Description


Quiscalus mexicanus. They may be common birds, and not well liked in general, but I like them! They will occasionally sing the most beautiful song. They have wonderful iridescence in the black feathers. And this same bird was earlier involved in what another birder calls "sky-pointing contests". Must be mating behavior. :) Found at Fort Lowell Park, Tucson, Arizona, USA. I was just goofing off, trying an experiment with a different lens.
