Description

3rd in the series. The Stretcher Bearers (SB) & Medical Orderlies, a must have in any virtual invasion plans or chasing the hun around a battlefield, you'll end up with wounded, they will always come in handy, they are wearing my webbing xtension that allow to wear the small pack without having to wear the the big ammo pouches in front, this allows me to configure different layouts for Officers, NCO's & specialist non combatant troops, 1 figure opted for simply using cross straps swung over the chest without worrying about the small pack or web xtension. Besides creationg the Uniforms, I thought I would also add some scene filler props like all the signs & US gerry cans, stretchers of course. As for Jeremy's question, well Jer, all the figures are thw old Domus P4, my propencity for liking to have huge number of figures like my market garden render, I could have never done that using M4 or Apollo or the G2 series. But being a realist I do realise that thats not were the market is so, since most of us use Poser, I decided on using the G2 figures, you have James, Simon, Koji & Kelvin, I've tried the uniforms on both James G2 & Simon G2, they come with Poser & are fully compatible. These renders are to demonstrate, just what can be achieved by interchanging the tops & props with mat files for ranks & different schemes for the props & uniforms. As for the weapons I chose a basic infantry layout, a standard rifle Lee Enfield No.4 but have included the Mk32 Sniper Scope with mount & cheek piece as a separate prop. For the SMG, the Sten MK II was chosen with again 2 choices of prop butts, the wire version & the T version with the appropriate slings. For the LMG I selected the Bren MkI, cuz it was available throughout the whole war in all theaters of operations, there were a total of 4 marks for the bren, the Mk 2 & 3 were the same xcept a shorter barrel on the MKIII, used mostly after 1944, the MkIV only showed up at the end of the war, as the war progressed however & the bren parts were fully interchangeable you could see a MkI with the sort barrel or a MkII butt.... but hey thats speculation on my part so I might make an other bren. One thing thatwill be added as an xtra kit will be the boys anti tank rifle (weapon for the early war), the piat & 2 inch mortar as part of infantry support weapons with the Vickers MG.

Endless fun, the range of gear is staggering...the range of images they will produce is limitless. When a new model appears there is usually an outbreak of 'look-a-like' renders. Can't see that happening with all this stuff, there are probably loads of images already being planned and mapped out just from these excellent insights into the possibilities.
