Really awesome street/city block model. Nice variations and great detail. Looks like it'll be quite a job to material too. Excellent work.

Oooh! I like this quite a lot in terms of the sheer detail in this modeling. Such a Chicago-looking place--we have a thing for straight lines here in Chicago. NO diagonals (sort of) No curves (sort of)...it's the grid thing we like: straight lines, perfect perpendiculars and truly parallel parallels. I wonder if that could classify as urban fetishism: I'm sure an anthropologist has looked into that, and if not, one probably should as we'd learn a lot about the Chicago mindset from it. And as for this image, as a raw model it works perfectly in a wonderful science fictional way; it reminds me of one of those schematic maps you'd see in some super-sophisticated control room full of beeping, humming, pinging sound effects stolen from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and for me, that's a good thing, though it does make me wonder why I live my life with Star Trek sound effects in my head. Wonderful detail and I love the almost metallic sheen this has.
