Description

the lady you see on the bottom photo is the one that put on the show. it was at a hospital after hours. it the first one of this type. Only four artist responded to the show. I was one of them. They had no way of hanging the images so I had to borrow some wire tri pods to put the images on and some table tri pods too. You see mine area on the top photo all on wire tri pods. The man that was painting on his paintings still you do not see but he was on the other side of me and is hide from view. the small tables have some watercolors paintings of flowers from a artist that had retired. the bottom photo shows the other side of the room that have a artist that did put work there earlier but had to leave for some reason. Anyway I told her of a system that can be set up for next years show. i told her who to call and give her a card to help out. I did ask the man that she is to call if it was ok first. he say yes. I did not see it in the papers yet my name and all. i got to go to my dads first. as he gets all the papers I checked the papers and they did not print nothing in the paper. lol oh the artist in the lower photo that was not there put paint on with a knife. look like a lot of paint too

Wonderful exhibit Jocko. The hospital I visit frequently has a gallery and it is always a bit more fun to go to appointments knowing I will see the art.

I love seeing what you see Jocko...you describe it so well. And isn't it great that this lady stepped forward to put the show on? I'll bet your tips will make it a better show next year. Sounds like she needs to do more with the newspaper both before and after the show!
