Description
This is another of my local castles in Kent. Just 20 minutes from my home, Sissinghurst Castle is probably just as well known for a former inhabitant. Vita Sackville-West, Poet and Writer (1892-1962) was responsible for the wonderful gardens in a magnificent setting. This shot taken today, April 2, shows the gardens at their Spring best with fields of daffodils. I plan a return trip in June when I am told the roses will be out. If you are planning a visit to the South of England I can recommend a visit.

This place has been on my bucket list for a long time! I'm totally envious that you can just pop over there any time you want. :P Beautiful image!

Hello Angora There wasn't much out in the white garden at the minute, but the team of gardeners were hard at work clearing and planting.
