Description

A couple of days ago,it was 85 degrees around here and felt like Summer.Today,it was cold and snowy.Much of it has already melted and tomorrow it is suppose to be warm again. My Dad called this kind of snow,Poor Man's Fertilizer.I used the Kodak cartoon effect to make things more interesting. Thanks for looking.

I know the feeling we're suppose to get snow above 1000 feet tomorrow and the politicos say there's nothing wrong with the weather....... great capture Jay

Great job on this photo Jim, I can't believe you got snow this late in the season. I like the old saying of your dads that you shared with us

outstanding effect.I use to look forward to a snow when I was young, since almost every time the next day would be warm.otherwise cold days on end

SUPERB! And we had a summer in March and now it is back to normal for the time of year, with snow up North, though I do hope not here.

i wonder why he called it poor mans fertilizer? There's been similar monkey business with the weather over in the uk, with glorious summer last week followed by snow showers rapidly spreading from scotland to northeast england. I hope they don't come down here, my country ceases to function in the snow!

Wonderful capture and motif, Jim. Your father's sense of humor is amusing :) Strange shift in the weather for sure. A little the same in Denmark. A week ago, we had close to 60F. Now it is frost at night, and icy lawn in the morning. The small flowers do not like it at all. Spooky...the coldest Easter in ages here.+5

Seems all over the world the weather conditions are really spooky. We too had hot weather for about a week and then snow here in the UK. Now we have a hosepipe ban because of drought and yet it is rainy and cold every day just at the moment!! I love the postwork and effects on this amazing shot, hugs Jane xx
